Feng Shui Remedies or Myths?

Are all the recommended elements in Feng Shui good? How do we know where to put them?

I have often heard recommendations such as putting a red carpet at the entrance, even the red door or buying lucky bamboos, fountains or lucky aquariums. And if you enter a store with so-called Feng Shui objects, you will definitely be recommended either a frog with money in his mouth, for prosperity, or mandarin ducks to find the ideal partner or to revive the love life.

I also see Maneki the cat in various shops, at the entrance, maybe they did their Feng Shui, who knows? Or maybe those with red wallets come in and buy.

Yes, I admit, I also had the naivety to make this kind of purchases at some point, a long time ago… of course they brought me… nothing. In the meantime, I started studying and found out what is the logic in setting Feng Shui remedies and what are these remedies. So, let's take them in turn to elucidate the use of the most popular remedies - myths:

  • Red door and red carpet at the entrance - we put the red door and red carpet at the entrance only if it is an energy that needs fire, otherwise it does not bring any benefit, on the contrary it can do more harm;
  • Maneki Cat- it is true that it is, very “hardworking” as it shakes hands and activates prosperity, but only if you put it on a water energy, ie an energy of prosperity (8, 9 or 1 valid in the era of 8 which lasts until 2024 at the beginning), otherwise it activates quarrels, thefts, legal problems, financial losses, diseases, etc., depending on the energy of the area where you put it without doing Feng Shui calculations before;
  • Lucky bamboos – bamboos placed in water, in a transparent or black, blue or green vase, without stones or other ornaments, are a remedy for the annihilation of metal energy, energy that during this period is bringing legal problems, gossip and scandals on sexual issues , problems with the lungs, breathing;
  • Fountain and aquarium – are active elements, very good for activating prosperity zones, but just like the Maneki cat, only if you know where to position them;
  • Red wallet- it is much more beneficial to a person who has the element of favorable fire, which you can find out in the analysis of BaZi- The four pillars of destiny; otherwise the money may not be in it;
  • Mirror in the bedroom– you can have a mirror in the bedroom but to be positioned so that it does not reflect your body when you sleep because when you sleep the body becomes Yin, and the mirror is also Yin and will act like an energetic vampire, so you will not rest well, you’ll wake up exhausted; in Feng Shui we recommend positioning the mirrors so that they attract an energy of prosperity.

My recommendation is to avoid using very active elements in your spaces such as a fountain, aquarium, pendulum clock, Maneki cat, if you do not know how you have your energies because you can activate areas with expired, unfavorable energies and very unpleasant situations can occur, especially if you use those areas (stay in them).

How could you know where to place the mentioned objects, so that they bring you harmony and prosperity?

Simple, either turn to a Feng Shui Specialist to analyze your location, or take specialized courses so that you know how to analyze a space yourself!

I wish you the inspiration to make the right choices in what you set out to do!

Best regards!
